    Where can I recycle? »

    Plastic films are not usually accepted as part of your household recycling scheme or at your local recycling centre. However, some types of plastic films can be recycled in the carrier bag collection points at the larger stores of most major supermarkets including:

    • Tesco;
    • Asda;
    • Morrisons;
    • Sainsbury's;
    • The Co-op;
    • Waitrose.

    Plastic carrier bags

    Any non-Polyethylene film (e.g. PP, PVC, others)

    Plastic bread bags

    Bubble wrap

    Plastic bags from breakfast cereals

    Clingfilm

    Plastic wrappers from multipacks of cans and plastic bottles

    Crisp packets

    Plastic wrappers from toilet roll and kitchen towel

    Food and drink pouches

    Plastic freezer bags

    Film lids from food trays

    Plastic magazine (home delivery) and newspaper wrap
