CAR BATTERIES

Where can I recycle? »

Some recycling centres will take car batteries but it is best to check with your council before making the journey. There are also other places where you can recycle them.

How should I recycle car batteries?

  • carbatt_port3_en-120x201.jpg

    Car batteries, by law, must not be disposed of with household waste;
  • They are collected at garages, scrap metal facilities and many household waste recycling centres (check with your council first);
  • Sometimes the specialist who replaces your battery will be able to dispose of the old one safely for you.
